When considering US based operations of guides/outfitters, check and see if they are NRA members. If not, why support someone who doesn't support us? Consider spending your money elsewhere.

NEVER, EVER book a hunt with BLAIR WORLDWIDE HUNTING or JEFF BLAIR.

I have come to understand that in hunting, the goal is not the goal but the process.

I have not but, I've read on rimfire central that people are happy with them and that they hit hard with that flat nose. Don't know why you couldn't take a file to the nose of a mini mag and have the same thing. Maybe accuracy would fall off if that was done.

Wouldn't hurt to give them a try at Midway's price.

Not sure about rim fire, or this ammo.

But, we have tried to see any difference in accuracy by removing the lead off the tips of RWS soft points in 7mm Remington Magnum.

We tried that because the ammo seemed to have a large amount of lead out.

At 100 yards there was no difference at all.

It shoots well enough out of all my rifles. My tuned 77/22 loves it. It's the best hunting ammo on the market for squirrels, coon, fox and coyote. You can hear the difference on impact and even a less than perfect hit on a squirrel slows them enough to get a second shot in.

I have the tool and cut my own. The flat me plat on the rimfire bullet increases the killing power in my opinion.

If ignorance is bliss; there are some blissful sonofaguns around here. We know who you are, so no reason to point yourselves out.

Yes I've used the SGB's for some time. Mostly for blue grouse hunting. They work really well. Hit hard and don't destroy any meat.

I've tried them.....and they are worth the few extra sheckels....a fine round.

Midway has lowered price to $4.72/box, naturally after I just bought 30 boxes at just over $5. Typical for my buying..... Mad

Also have the used to be hard to find .22 mag ammo (CCI) on sale for $11/box.
