Sticker shock for Ruger mk 4 rimfire pistols

I was playing with my Ruger Mk2 pistol and thought that it would be nice to have a stainless Ruger mk4. I looked that up online and was shocked to see them starting at about $700!

Ruger sells there low end 380 ACP pistols starting at $260 and the standard blue Mk4 goes for almost $600

I remember the Ruger rimfires as one of the cheapest of the quality 22 rimfire semis.

Used to be Rugers were less expensive but well built and strong as hell. They are still well built and strong.
