MkII 22, LR, Savage Range report
fishingSunny day, about 60 degrees at 8AM. Gentle breeze.Rifle Savage MK II 22lr. @ 50 yds.
Steady rest.

Ammo:
  • Fed Champion, 1216 fps. 10 shot 1 3/8"

  • Wolf match, 1031fps. 5 shots 3/4" group followed by an additional 10 shots 1/2" group

  • Really OLD Peters HV, 1200 fps. 6 shot 1/2" group and 9 shot 1" GROUP.

  • Winchester Expert, 1216 fps. 9 shot 1 1/4" group.

  • American Eagle, 1122 fps. good stuff.

  • Aguila, 1269 fps. 5 shot 1/2" group.

  • SK (Lapua) Match, 1065 fps.18 shot 1/2" group 2 other shots made it a 20 round 3/4" group.

  • OLD-OLD Super X, 1250 fps.5 shot 3/4".

  • Really old Remingtons, 1200 fps.5 shot 2" group.

    Thought the Accutrigger was fouling up but it turned out to be me. Somehow as I pulling the bolt to the rear it seems I must also be pulling the safety back. Confused bewilderedroger
