perryCZ 452 or 455???
My daughter wants a 22lr of her own for Christmas this year. What says the hive on the 452 vs the 455? I have lots of ammo for 22lr and 22magnum so I was thinking the 455 with the 22lr and 22mag bbls. That said 22lr will be the main diet so a 452 will do if it is a superior rifle.
Thanks guys.

Jerry LilesI have both. I don't see any difference in accuracy or quality between the two. Get either.
The switch barrel sounds nice, however, switching back and forth requires re-sighting and, while switching isn't difficult, it isn't convenient and isn't something done on a whim. Its not like you hunt squirrels on Saturday with the .22 barrel, switch to 17 or 22 magnum for groundhogs on Sunday and then switch back to .22 for targets on Monday.

SaeedWe have several of both, and frankly, I prefer the 452.

Heym SR20Go for the 452. But if you can find a clean Brno Mod 2 then they are even nicer - still essentially the same gun, but much nicer, but nothing that a bit of polishing wont sort out on the 452. Also budget on dropping in a Timney trigger. Yes you get a trigger kit to improve the 452's trigger, but the Timney makes it so much better, and whilst more exensive is definately worth it.

Calif. HunterI have a Rifle Basix trigger on my CZ 452 varmint .17 HMR. It's very nice.
