Ruger pre 1972 single six
Thought you would enjoy seeing this beautiful revolver I just acquired. A pre 1972, single six, no transfer bar, 3 screw, in 98% condition.
I can't resist the older Rugers....

I have been shooting it with the .22 mag cylinder and it is a 1" gun at 25 yards if I do my part. clap

My Dad's got one of these. I can't even begin to count the # of cottontails and snowshow hares it has taken. He always carried it while elk hunting and never passed up the chance for a bunny or a blue grouse for the pot.

It accounted for a couple of mule deer and at least 1 pronghorn that I know of. The statute of limitations has run out by now, so I can admit to seeing such things in my wayward country upbringing. Cool
