Anschutz .22 WMR
Looking for an accurate .22 WMR. Just started research on an Anschutz. The 1720D with a 54 action seemed to be just the ticket, but no longer available in USA. They show one with a 67 action on their web site. Wondering how big a difference there is between to two actions. When did they discountine the 1720? Should I look for a used 1720? Is there anything else out there that is as accurate as these Anschutz?
I bought a new 1720 on gunsamerica about a year ago. Shoots very good. Last I looked a couple months ago, there were some available yet on gunsamerica.

Skinner.Buy a CZ 452 and use the funds left over to buy a scope, Talley rings and ammo (if you can find it).
They are very accurate and there's a few styles to choose from.
CZ USA Rimfire RiflesThe Anschutz is a FINE rifle. Having said that, as has been noted above you should at least consider the CZ and, (IHMO) the EAA Biathlon rifle (if they are still available). There is a thread on this rifle in which I posted targets that I had shot with this rifle. The action is certainly unique! Bear in mind that the limiting factor with the 22mag. (as with the 22LR) is the ammunition.

StonecreekI have a Kimber of Oregon Model 82 in WMR that is by far the most accurate gun of this caliber I've run across. Of course, they're hard to find these days and would be pricey, to boot. I don't know how the current Kimber compares, but the Kimbers I've seen from the New York factory seem well-made.
However, if you're prepared to pay Anschutz prices, a Cooper would undoutedly be a great little gun.
