Wanna buy a CZ .22 reasonably priced?
I have absolutely no connection to CZ but for kicks and giggles, I bought 2 CZ .22s today, both with the "match" 12 groove barrels.

These deals are still available on GunBroker.

The first was quite cheap and is a NIB one of the new 455 Ultra Match (replacing the 452s) at $369 shipped.

The other was one of the now discontinued 452 Super Matches at $424 shipped.

My thinking, possibly incorrect, is that the switch barrel feature of the 455s will tend to hurt accuracy, maybe, maybe not.

Hi Gatogordo,

Have you got your two new CZ's yet? How do they shoot?

I have also recently acquired two CZ's. The first is a 452 American in a custom silhouette stock. I put Rifle Basix trigger in it and it's much better that the original. I am waiting on the scope mount/adapter to arrive so I can try it out.

The second one is a 455 Varmint. It has the factory stock and heavy barrel. It already had a YoDave trigger job done to it. The trigger is light and crisp, although it has more over travel than I would like. I may see what can be done about that. Also, if it is a real shooter, I may start looking around to see if anyone is offering a more bench friendly stock for it.

Hopefully, over the next few weeks, I can get them out to shoot and I will report back.

My CZ452 American shipped and I should receive it next week. After a few days of searching about the trigger modifications, I think I am going to install the Ace Hardware replacement spring (>$2) and adjust to see how it is. This is a very popular modification on Rimfire Central

Picked them up yesterday, but who knows how long it will take to scope and shoot them.

I just bought one of the 455's with a threaded barrel. It shoots very well I got about 1/2" 10 shot groups with the first match ammo I tried. Trigger is very decent.

I really don't care for the backwards safety, but I can live with it.

I need to get one. I have a suppressor and this rifle is perfect for it.

I have 7 452 and 1 455.

Best $/value Rimfire out there.

Just get one of yours threaded....easy peasy. Should cost about $80.00.

I threaded the boss lady's ruger americn and it took about an hour....

All my .22's are semi autos and higher value type collector rifles so I bought the CZ.....

The shot is much quiter on the bolt guns than the semi's.
