Brad from NDRuger 10/22 Magnum value?
I've got a guy that wants to trade me a Ruger 10/22 Magnum towards a rifle I'm selling but I'm not really sure what it's worth. I know they're fairly uncommon now, but I'm not sure I can resell it for what I want to get back what I want out of my RRA. Any help on value would be great.

SamThey look to be around $700 on gunbroker, gunsamerica has on listed as new for $1000. I don't know how easy to sell it is.

Bernie P.I check prices at SportingArms.com and they have the K77 in .22 WMR new for 540.I'm sure the 10/22 mag will be a good bit less than that and much less used.Your best bet would be to check here-

PeterBernie, I believe the gun in question is a 10/22 not a bolt action gun. I too don't believe that they were that popular. Could be wrong though.

Cliff LyleWhen you can find one at a gunshow, they will sell or $600+. They are more expensive than the M77's due to the scarcity from being out of production.

Black FlyI've been looking for one at a reasonable price for the last couple years. The Ruger guys out there are hoping you will put it on the classifieds for $50. Condition as always will impact price, but if it's real nice Sam's price is about there, but it may take a while to sell at the upper end. Would be less if it's been rode hard and put up wet. It has a different sized action than the standard 10/22, and guys are looking for them to play around with. There was a problem or two with them, that's why Ruger stopped production. And that of course made them more popular.

filmitI wouldn't sell mine for $700 but I wouldn't pay that for one either(does that make sense). The problem was the extractor so they installed double extractors but the inside extractor could break off and destroy the bolt. There is an easy fix. Take off the inside extractor and replace the outside extractor with a volquartsen extractor. That's what I did with mine and they work great. You can find out everything you need to know about the 10/22 mag at rimfire central. They sell for a lot more than the 77 magnum like as was stated they quit making them and they are going up in value quite a bit.
There's been guys pay as much as $1,000 for a nib 10/22 mag on gunbroker, I wouldn't but a few have. Of course if you search high and low you can still find them for a few hundred if guys don't know what's going on with them.

I wasn't aware Ruger stopped making the 10/22 mag version or what they're selling for used.I like my 10/22 Lr but would never pay more for the mag version over the 77.
