Better then the single six just because they hold 3 more rounds.

The single six is a accurate revolver.

I bought a single ten when they first came out and really like it...may have to buy a nine just to have one.

Fast to shoot, slow to load, illegal in NY State and weighs 13 ounces more than my 329PD (44 magnum) that I can handload for less than 22 WMR and reload 3 times as fast.

The single 9 and the scout rifle ..... Ruger has lost their way.

And now we have the new Winchester 17 Magnum.....

I have one. Also have a single 10. Both are pretty accurate and both need a trigger job. Single 10 already had a trigger job and is a super nice revolver, single 9 is at the gunsmith as we speak. Out of the box the single 9 had a nicer trigger than the 10, but they still need some attention.

I don't like the hi vis sights and waiting to hear back from Ruger if they will replace them with "regular" sights.

My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost.

I already own an older "Single Six" as well Taurus model 94 9-shot DA revolver so I'm less than thrilled with the idea of a single firearm that combines the features of both.
