AR-15,.22LR conversion kit
I think I'm in the market for one of these. Anybody have any experience with them, good or bad? My AR has a 1 in 9 twist, and I understand that is the proper twist rate for the 60gr. Aquila ammo. I want to use this for off-hand tactical practice.

velocity is like a new car, always losing value.
BC is like diamonds, holding value forever.

The one I saw was a completer upper. You existing bbl comes off with it's upper.

I bought a CMMG conversion from CDNN out of Abilene, TX. I think I paid $ 150. You simply replace the bolt and carrier and use either a 30 round or 10 round magazine.

Feed and extraction has been completely problem free. I first tried it with the standard A2 open sights and didn't do too well at 50 yards. After a box of 50 rounds I had holes all over the 8" target.

I ordered a cheap 3 - 9 Chinese scope with mount that fits the A2 handle and that brought my group of 50 rounds down to a 2" range with the center inch completely gone.

I think it is a heck of a deal and would recommend or buy another one again.

A forum in OK is doing a group buy on the one made by Nordic. Black Dog (magazines) is about fifteen miles from my house. They are going to offer a 75rd 22lr drum. I can't wait...
