mikethebearScope for Marlin 39 rifle
I have a Marlin 39 Carbine. Not the 39a, but a carbine. I need to put a scope on it, and I don't have clue as to what mount to get for it. Where is a good place to look?

C.C.You lucky guy! ENVY! I missed one of those a couple of years back, when I didn't have the $$. I have heard that Marlin made or makes a scope mount for the 39. I'm sure Weaver would make something to solve your problem, too. You might check with them, or Brownell's or Midway.
Just my opinion, you understand, but a compact scope such as the Leupold rimfire 4X, or the Weaver Classic 4X rimfire scope would complement the classic lines of your rifle, and not make it look like one of those little Sherpas, carrying a humongous load up the Himalayas.
