Need 22lr with high cap mag

ranb40Need 22lr with high cap mag
My wife of eight years finally tried shooting a rifle this weekend. She is very timid of loud noise and recoil but we had the rifle line to ourselves for a while and she shot a suppressed Savage MKII with subsonic ammo and wore ear plugs. She shot very well for a beginner.
The only thing she did not like was reloading the magazine every five rounds. While magazine capacity means nothing to me and most people who want an accurate rifle, I want to ensure my wife enjoys shooting as much as possible.
What can you guys recommend for a reasonably accurate 22lr rifle with a magazine capacity of at least ten rounds? I could get a 10/22, but the ones I have shot are not so reliable with subsonic ammo. I do not want a tube magazine rifle either.
What suggestions do you all have? Thanks.

Remington 510/511/513 had a ten-round magazine...

Idaho SharpshooterGSG-522. Made in Germany, it is a copy of the HK MP-5 sub gun. Folding stock, and either a 22 round stick mag, or a 110 drum magazine. About $450 new. Kids of all ages just love it.
Option B; a 22lr conversion kit or a complete dedicated upper for it. I have a Ciener and 3 25rd Black Dog magazines. The Ciener conversion just replaces the bolt carrier.

ZephyrLook at the Ruger 10-22 the sky is the limit on what you can do to trick these guns out and 30 rnd magazines can be purchased

ranb40Thanks guys.
About the 10/22, how do I eliminate the extraction and feeding problems with subsonic ammo?

butchloci never had trouble with a 10/22 & sub sonic, but if you are a thorough cleaning is probably in order

I have a GSG and really like it....

Idaho SharpshooterThe GSG: ten minutes to fill the 110 round drum magazine, and twenty seconds to empty it...
That is my herd of pre-teens average time. I think I've spent about eighty dollars in the last ten days on 22 shells.
The Ciener, et al, conversions, Black Dog is now selling a new 32 round mag with one of the little side buttons, ala Ruger 22 autoloading pistols for $29.95. Just five bucks more than the standard 25 rounders.

ranb40I found the solution to my problem; order a ten round mag for the Savage MKII. Duh. Hahahaha. Thanks for the suggestions.
