DUKQuickTarget for rimfire?
Anyone has an idea on how to use QuickLoad's external ballistic program QuickTarget efficiently for rimfire trajectory calculations?
I am looking to compute more or less realistic values for up to 300 meters.

DUKYes, I'd like to try if one can hit a clay or similar sized target with a .22 lr at this distance. According to my calculations and under quiet conditions without wind it should be doable. The bullet drop should be somewhere around 50 MOA, this is adjustable on a proper scope and similar to f.i. a .308 when shooting at over 1000 meters or so.
Technical configuration of the tool: Anschütz 54 Match rifle, windage adjustable Anschütz scope mount, IOR 10x40 mm adjustable scope with Mil-recticle and ~100 MOA range for adjustment.
Recently in Mexico, we shot .22 lr at silhouettes up to 150 meters away. When the air is quiet and the windage figured correctly, this is not really a challenge. When there is wind, it gets difficult to impossible real quick.

GhubertWell, in your advantage is the fact that unlike practically any other bullet you can name in common use, the G1 ballistic coefficient should suit the projectile perfectly!

http://www.exteriorballistics....lained/22rimfire.cfmPlug those into QT and see how you get on. It should be pretty close for the ELey Tenex and we shoot my club's Christmas Wappenshaw with a single shot BSA Martini .22 at 200 yards.
It's great fun with peep sights as without adjusting the sights you have to score as higly as possible with ten rounds and then as low as possible with ten, v-bull points awarded for complete misses however!

DUKThanks Amir, great find! It seems that this is even more detailled than the single BC for many different kinds of ammo I have found in the meantime on rimfirecentral.com.
