tom`Olympic Arms Polymer Whitney Wolverine re-creation/re-issue
I've had mine since, well a few years, ordered one of the first ones that came out. Low 4 digit serial number starting with a "1". Always had a problem with stovepiping, unlike my Original Wolverines of an Aluminum nature from decades ago. I spoke last week with Harvey at the Oly Arms Whitney shop. They'd made some design updates to solve the feed problems. UPS a box, couple day turnaround, and UPS brought me an overnight box to sign for with my upgraded Wolverine with a new bolt, barrel, mag release, and magazine designed to the new specs. Harvey said he fed it 30 rounds before he shipped it to me. I just fed it 250 rounds of mixed .22LR ammo and no misfeeds with any of it.
Kudos to the Whitney Shop at Oly Arms. No charge for any of the repair and parts replacement services.
It's back in the running as neck in neck with the old Wolverines and my various Rugers for favorite .22LR pistol to walk about the property with.
I'm a satisfied customer.

Hot CoreHey Tom, How `bout a flick? I don't believe I'm familiar with that firearm at all. Darn nice service from them.

Hot CoreVery modern looking. I've not seen them before.
Do have an older Bull Barrel Ruger Mark I and it shoots way better than I am able to anymore. Lots of fun to try though.

tom`The top one is a 56 model. The bottom is the polymer recreation. They were somewhat hamstrung on improving the design when they did the polymer re-issue because of contractual/licensing obligations related to being allowed to make the pistol at all. I've put in some suggestions on a better mag release and the guys in the Whitney shop said "keep those emails coming to customer service, we've been wanting to do that for a while, but they won't let us because it might violate the agreement..."
Nice natural pointing .22LR pistol and shoots every bit as well as any of the Mk I through III and .22/45 Rugers I own.
Find somebody with one they think is jam-happy, buy it for a hunnerd bucks, and ship it to be refurbished for free.

If you want a
NEW one, info is here.
