Rem 541S 0- your comments

I have a chance to pick up a NIB 541S for about $700. Seems a good price. Any opinions on accuracy of these or would you go with a kimber or something else. I have $1000 to spend on one.

More Powder / More Dead

If you plan on shooting this rifle you are paying $200.00 FOR THE BOX!! I have always belived that NIB rifles are to be collected not shot.
If you want a 22 to shoot you can't do much better than the 541S.

I don't believe in being a warehouse for the next guy. I am a shooter and enjoy it weather I am the first to fire a NIB gun or next to last. Buy it, shoot it, enjoy it.
