Is there a problem with the buddies list finding new members?

When I go to PM's and try to find new buddies so I can send a PM I get a screen that tells me something about a syntax error on the page and I can't find let alone add a new buddy for PM purposes. I get the same error screen on both my laptop and my home desktop computer system.

Any ideas?
