Email Notification

Is there a way to get email notifications on posts I make only
I found a notification but it sends me a email for all posts all topics.

Right-click on your name. Select 'Notify me of new posts by elk88101'.

Not sure if elk is asking for the same info I'm wondering about. I 'left' clicked on my name, and there is an option to notify me when I(me) post. What I would like is to be notified when a new entry is posted in a thread in which I have participated. Is there a way for this to happen? For some reason it doesn't happen automatically. I have tried looking for something along the lines of:'For posts by Sevastopol, click here', but haven't figured it out.

No, that is different. You have to subscribe to the thread.

When you post in the thread, click on the Notifications flag, so that it shows 'Notifications: On'.

You have to set the notification preferences in your profile, as well.
