Thanks for the banner.
As a Christian, this is our second most sacred remembrance of Christ - His birth and His coming - Immanuel which means "God with us".

I always find it amazing that the announcement went to shepherds watching sheep in the cool December night near Bethlehem and not via Twitter to the masses! What a sight to see- the entire "heavenly host" (angels) singing and praising the God of the universe and all creation for sending His only Son to us - to show us the way to right living and right relationship with Him!!!

Amen dogcat! Now let's try this "peace on earth" stuff.
On a more mundane level I have had the NORAD Santa Tracker on most of the day. They say that when he enters American air space he will have a fighter escort (to guard against hijacking I guess)!!!
