Alberta CanuckI have a picture
in my "pictures" folder on my computer which I would like to use as an avatar.
It has no "url" that I am aware of, and I don't know how to upload it to AR to use. Is that even possible? If so, how do I do it?
First you have to size it to 48 X 48 pixels.
Then you go to your profile, and hit edit avatar.
Instead of choosing one of the canned ones, you hit "custom avatar" on top of the canned selections.
Then, after you upload it, you must click on the left top button SELECT THIS ONE.

Alberta CanuckDon - Thanks. But, I guess my problem is I don't know how to "upload" my proposed avatar to where I can select it with the "select this" button. I have Windows 7 Home Premium as an OS but don't know poop about how to use it to upload things to a site such as AR.

When you click on custom avatar it will browse your PC and you can select the picture to upload to our server.
THEN you select this after it is uploaded.
