Had several areas that I wanted to post photos, (big bore, custom rifles, hunt reports) but was informed I did not have permission to post photo albums. How can I get that changed?

You cannot. Photo albums are reserved for administrators and moderators.

You will have to upload your photos to an online photo hosting site (there are several free sites for this), then hotlink to them in your posts.
