Mike_DettorreNotifications functioning very slow
Historically the notifications function worked within about 5 minutes when "immediate notification" was selected.
Now the the response is completely random, 10 minutes to 10 hours. Posts time stamped 2 hours before other posts having notifications sent after later posts.
Perhaps we are maxing capacity on some variable.

Are you talking to yourself ?????n I see no responses to your first post.
Anyway, notifications are sent immediately....but email traffic can slow things down on our server or yours.

Mike_DettorreWell given I use gmail (i.e, the likelihood of gmail having a throughput problem for months is pretty remote) and there are no other email problems I experience, you may wish to check your email server. like I said:
I can get an email notification for "reply 2" three hours before the email notification for "reply 1" when "reply 2" was made 4 hours after "reply 1". That's is often symptomatic of a pending crash.
