My screen shows that I am not logged on and does not display time in CST -- as in my preferences -- though I can post and even view my PMs.

How do I remedy this?

I re-booted after cleaning my system, and it still does the same. Would like for at least the time to be correct.

Any suggestions?

This must be a cookie issue.

Go to "personal zone, and then profile" and on the left you will see cookies.

Delete them,

Log out,

Log in and let us know if that worked.
