Just a suggestion.
How about a forum for general firearms-related discussion which doesn't fit well into any of the current categories? For instance, ballistics Q&A's, which type of gun to choose (handgun/rifle/shotgun), discussion of firearms accessories other than optics, etc.
We don't want to stir up Walter's ire and post anything off topic in his forum.

Walter's a pretty laid back individual, so if you can't figure out where to post (for ballistics I'd suggest reloading unless you are talking about bullet design and manufacture and there is a forum for that too, for rifle, shotgun, pistol selection just go the forum with that name) go ahead and post it in his forum or in "miscellaneous" which is located in the "other topics" group.

Walters rules are pretty simple, just go read the "How many time do I have to tell you?" thread and try and follow the spirit of what he is saying and you'll be OK with no hurt feelings from anyone around the campfire.

People will often tell you "If you want more results why don't you post this on XXX froum". Seems to work pretty well.

I had thought about starting a thread of my own about a topic, but I've since thought better of it. I think it's covered well enough elsewhere after all.
