Hugh WOutstanding Customer Service: Leupold
It is refreshing to still see companies that back up their product reputation with outstanding customer service. Leupold is well known for having very good products; but until recently I had never had to send anything in to Leupold for repair.
Last summer, I took a brand new set of Leupold Wind River Pinnacles 8 x 42 binos to Tanzania. Mid way through the safari our Landcruiser hit an anteater hole and we buried the right front tire. Equipment was flying everywhere and my Leupolds hit the deck in the backend of the truck. A solid impact to say the least. The impact knocked the tube alignment off.
I finally got around to sending them in to Leupold because of my upcoming trip to Alaska. Nine days later my brand new replacement set of binos arrived. No charge except for $15 shipment charges.
It is great to still see a company that stands by their product 100%. Hats off to Leupold.

SnellstromYour experience is right in line with my experiences with Leupold. I've sent 2 scopes back to Leupold because of damage I inflicted on them fully expecting to be charged for the repairs and never owing a cent when they completed the repairs and returned them to me in under 2 weeks including shipping.
Great products and great people to deal with and a fantastic warranty.
