A long time hunting buddy & I are ready to pull the trigger on a boat based brown bear hunt in spring of 2016. a couple we are looking closely at are Keegan McCarthy at Costal Alaska Adventures and Scott Newman at Alaska Bear Guides.

Anyone have any experience with either of these 2 outfits. Any other recommendations?? Thanks in advance for your time. Sam

Wade Derby, who posts here, knows a lot about boat based bear hunts.

I would talk to Dale Adams out of Sitka. He and Alex are a couple great guys to hunt with. I've hunted with him twice in the past and will be back hunting black bear with him this spring

I'm hunting brown bear this spring with Dale Adams....based on lots of good reviews.
