KIDS HUNTING ALASKA
I would like some info. on outfitters that specialize in hunting with kids. My daughter would like to rifle hunt for black bear or caribou in the 2005 season.

Thanks

Try Bob Adams. He has a family run operation and his sister is a first rate guide. Sherry has had several articles written about her in the NRA and other magazines. Top notch operation all the way around.

DPM,

I have a guy right here in Dillingham that I could recommend for your daughter. I've seen a huge caribou he helped a ten year old get. He's very patient and I think he would be a good match for what you propose. As for the black bear there is a guy in SE Alaska that I have hunted with twice that has taken kids in on several bears. The hunt down there would be good for a kid because you spot and stalk from the skiff, there is always something to look at and you see lots of bears. Having a 60 foot boat for a base camp is nice also.

E-mail me if you have more questions or need more info.

Regards,

Mark
