sub -zero weather and your gun
Just got back from a moose hunt in weather that went from -5C to -35C , what are your opinions on if i should strip my gun apart now , scope rings , mounts, stock ect. to clean them, will the cold produce moisture between the parts when they have been in cold them warm then cold??

I hose them down with rem oil or Kroil, blow off the excess oil with compressed air. Then I
leave it leaning over a heat duct or semi close to the wood stove with a fan blowing warm
air on it for a day. Then take the stock off and clean/Oil like normal
No rust ever

Good luck!! < !--color-->
