fostechsub -zero weather and your gun
Just got back from a moose hunt in weather that went from -5C to -35C , what are your opinions on if i should strip my gun apart now , scope rings , mounts, stock ect. to clean them, will the cold produce moisture between the parts when they have been in cold them warm then cold??

tsturmI hose them down with rem oil or Kroil, blow off the excess oil with compressed air. Then I
leave it leaning over a heat duct or semi close to the wood stove with a fan blowing warm
air on it for a day. Then take the stock off and clean/Oil like normal

No rust ever

Good luck!!
