endgameAKSwarovski 8X30 Rangefinder
Does anyone here have experience with the Swarovski 8X30 Rangefinder? I'm curious if the optical quality of the Rangefinder is equal to the SLC 8X30, i.e., is it an 8X30 monocular that also ranges?

loud-n-boomerI have borrowed one for two Alaskan hunts, a caribou hunt in ANWR and a moose hunt on the lost coast. It works great as both a range finder and a monocular. It is also reasonably light weight and compact to carry. Having used one, it is on my wish list to buy.

JPriceI have been using them for more than 5+ years. They are not as small as most(newer brands), but definitely optically superior.

Ingvar J. KristjanssonBest there is ! I have been using mine for about 5 years in all kind of weather, rain, snow, cold you name it and this rangefinder never fails. Another big plus is that you can easily use it as a binocular as well.
