Saw today on Facebook that Roy Roth passed away after a fall while hunting dall sheep in the Chugach range. I didn't know him personally but had heard good things when his name came up.

He cast a long shadow in the bow hunting community. I never had the opertunity to meet the man but heard a lot about him. Prayers to his family, may he rest in peace.

After my hunt I actually drove to Pioneer falls. I assume that flows from Pioneer Peak? Only a few days before the accident. Oh yeah the weather really sucked
