Well, the guys in the video weren't hunting so shooting him for protection wasn't a solution. This guy only expresses curiosity so I would have done exactly the same thing the guys in the video did. No reason to be concerned here but it is an interesting video. Bears do the darndest things. Thanks for the link.

Great video. I have had a little cub scamper up a tree next to me one time. It got to my level and was hanging on to the trunk glaring at me for a long time, while mother and other cub circled the bottom of my tree. I wish I had a camera.
