Is this area open to hunters, and can someone tell me about the quality/quantity of moose in the area?
And when's moose hunting season in Alaska?

a120: There is no moose season for non-residents within the Minto Flats Management Area. This management area has pretty severe restrictions on residents as well...for example, we cannot use aircraft or airboats to access the area to hunt moose. And there are other restictions on which residents get to hunt and when and how long they get to hunt this area.
