PostDriverDarren Byler Suspended by SCI
Just saw in the Safari Times from SCI that Byler has been immediately suspended under the 'emergency' provisions. They are continuing an investigation, but deemed it worthwhile to do the emergency suspension. It might be a result of his Adak operation, but who knows. I'm just passing this along for those who might be interested.

AlaskenI'm surprised nobody has "suspended" him from the world. Good for SCI.

Joel/AKWonder what they finally got him on? wonder if it has to do with that ole PWS thing or something else.
A lesson in irony
The Food Stamp Program, administered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, is proud to be distributing this year the greatest amount of free Meals and Food Stamps ever, to 46 million people.
Meanwhile, the National Park Service, administered by the U.S. Department of the Interior, asks us... "Please Do Not Feed the Animals." Their stated reason for the policy is because "The animals will grow dependent on handouts and will not learn to take care of themselves."
Thus ends today's lesson in irony.

PostDriver...as long as his 'tours' don't include Adak on a crabber carrying hunters.

Craig NolanThis guy sounds like a class A d*&^head; funny, I've seen him on a few hunting shows, and he always came away seeming like a tool.... Sounds like he had myriad opportunities to change his ways and refused to at every turn. You Alaskans should be pleased at the way your permitting process has worked, in this case at least....
Regards,
Craig Nolan

Robert johnsonI don't know this guy and he could be a first class ass. I do know if the Forest Service, Feds or State parks want to find a problem with your operation the can!!I really hate the idea you cant questions their decisions,. Don't we have a democracy? This guy is probably ass, but the Forest Service sure looks like they when out of their way to find problems! Expired CPR card, bathroom had to be shared? A lot of hear say.
