I leave for my first of many (hopefully) Alaska hunts on Saturday. I'll be heading up to Petersburg to hunt blackies for 7 days.
I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who has suggested gear and equipment and any oter bits of advice I've needed.

I thought todays Bears were strickly magnum brutes and couldn't be killed with old outdated calibers and pistols!
