MississippianAlaska bear hunt show
Ok, I watch very little TV but caught a show this evening of an outfitter hunting brown bear in Alaska. What little I got from the show in between wrestling the boys was very interesting. The show featured a service that has been in business for 40 years. It had 3 different scenes going, 2 different guides with clients and the old man and daughter hunting a bear close to camp. Anyone know the name of the outfitter?

HughiamI think that was "Dangerous Hunts". I saw it, and it looked less like hunting and more like a reality show.

boarkillerI thought it was very over dramatic and I never watched it again

When I'm ready to go, pack a bag of gunpowder up my ass and strike a fire to my pecker, until I squeal like a boar.

FMCIt's all bullshit. No such thing as a reality show, they all have plot lines.
A lot of the action is indeed real footage, but there are endless retakes for different angles, etc.
Although there is no "hard" script, there is a lot of editing by the "field producer" (if one or the cameraman if none) who will "script" or "develop" a story line while filming and suggest what you should say while they film.
The guy kept asking me every fucking morning "do you feel lucky......" pissed me off I wound up saying if a hunter tells you he feels lucky he's fucking lying or something to that effect...
