My Alaska Black Bear Photo Journal and Story - Warning PIC HEAVY
I put this photobook together for my grandparents and also my hunting partners (Keith/Dad, and Larry). It took quite some time to put this all together. It was also a bit hard to shrink down the pages to a web format that wasn't too wide/big for most monitors. The hunt took place in May of 2010, and it was truly a hunt and trip of a lifetime. All pictures were taken by me unless noted otherwise. Hope you enjoy! I will post the story in groups, cause its 50 pages long in total.

The End! This was turned into a coffee book table and is great to sit down and re-live when I am really wanting to hunt.

I have walked in the foot prints of the elephant, listened to lion roar and met the buffalo on his turf. I shall never be the same.

We motored out around to the end of the peninsula but most of the bears where shot fairly close to Homer. The scenery out there is unbelievable!

Great, great write and outstanding pictures!

Not to be a butt hole, but since you took the time to do such a great job of creating this photo book.....thought I would point out that you misspelled several words along the way. Nevada and the word tumbled were some of the words you might want to edit.

Again...great job, just trying to help.

Thanks, there are more than a few! This was my proof draft before I had my GF read it through to correct and I never made web-sized package of the final draft. I'll double check and make sure they arent in the final.

The hunt above was 2850 plus tags/license/flights/car. There are other boat based hunts for cheaper and seem to have similar success rates but less range. I hear the blacktail population got crushed with the winter so ill wait a few years.
