A friend of mine has a brown bear hunt scheduled with Dick Rohrer in 2007. He is based in Kodiak I believe. He came highly recommended from another friend that has hunted with him several times. I was curious if anyone on AR is familiar with him. Thanks.

Dick is a rock solid guide I have never heard any complaints about him.

My father hunted with him 10+ years ago, and has only good things to say about him. If he would ever do another bear hunt, I am certain it would be with Mr. Rohrer, and based on what I have heard/read about him, he would be at the top of my list as well.
