m stevensonPaul H How's the Tolman Skiff coming?
I've been hoping you'd post more pics and an update. I am going to be starting either a Tolman Skiff, or a TRacy O'Brien Predator in the near future.
Which model of Tolman are you building? The Widebody? or the biggest one?

Paul HSlowly, but thanks for asking

It's a widebody that I've stretched to 22 1/2 feet. A friend has posted some of my pics on his website, heres a link

http://skiffkits.com/ They add a bit to the price, but I think the time savings and dead on accurate cuts would be worth it.
http://skiffkits.com/There is a wooden boat show in Homer that coincides with the shorebird festival, May 7th and 8th, and they'll be several Tolmans there, as well as Renn. I hope to make it down this year.
Based on the number of folks that have built tolmans, and the incredible trips some folks have taken in them, I was sold on the design as being the most proven in both seaworthyness and ease of building. You might want to join the tolman skiff group on yahoo, there are builders all over the world, building all models, and folks that are just starting, in the middle of the build, almost done, and those that have completed their skiffs.
