458WinSigning off for the season
As much as I have enjoyed this forum during the past winter my real job is waiting. I'll be headed back to my homestead on the Alaska peninsula this weekend until the end of Bear season. I will try to get on from time to time from the Naknek library when I pick up mail but will be out of touch most of the time. It's been great.

PalmerPhil,
Must be terrible having to go back to work! Sorry to hear about that (Phils workplace below)
Just kidding - I've seen how hard all of you work and you definitely earn your money.

Into my heart on air that kills
From yon far country blows:
What are those blue remembered hills,
What spires, what farms are those?
That is the land of lost content,
I see it shining plain,
The happy highways where I went
And cannot come again.

458WinThanks everyone. I will try and keep you posted during the summer if the seasonal cannery workers don't tie up the computors at the library.

longshotsGood luck to you. I don't have a job this summer but I won't be online much either. Just got through with bear hunting. I will be fishing and camping this summer, and hunting again in the fall. This is a great time to live in Alaska.
