Here's the update however. I don't know if it was the same match or not but he had a gold locked up. On his last shot, he shot the wrong target. Alas, NO gold. Very sad indeed. I think I understand how that could be done, however. When shooting BP cartridge competition in Raton, I shot & hit a 500 meter ram out of sequence. I'd say that anyone shooting BP competition has done it. Still, I really feel for him. Bear in Fairbanks

Not the same match. He got the gold in the 50m prone a couple of days ago.

I watched the last match where he shot on the wrong target. He had been creeping up on the Chinese guy and passed him on shot 7 and was in first place. All he needed to do was just hit the target on his last shot. At least he has the one gold medal.
