cobradAir travel question
Want to fly from Fairbanks to Prudhoe bay to visit my cousin and see it in late may. What's my most economical way of flying up there?
Alaska Air flies from Anchorage to Prudhoe Bay once a day. To use them, you have to fly from Fairbanks to Anchorage first.
Don't know about the smaller airlines.

This may be changing. There was a recent newspaper article about how Alaska Airlines will soon be flying to/through Prudhoe direct from Fairbanks to handle bypass mail to Barrow.
Just an FYI that you'll fly into Deadhorse, and your cousin will have to drive out of Prudhoe to see you there. Also you won't be able to get into Prudhoe unless you're badged to do so.
No such thing as economical flights within the state on Alaska Air. Not a whole lot to see in Prudhoe in May, flat and frozen though the days are pretty long.
