I recommend James Boyce and Baranof Expeditions out of Sitka, AK for a variation on MG hunting that he has perfected, which is late season hunts in the snow, thus guaranteeing that you get a chance at a really long-haired goat as opposed to the much shorter and thiner hair/coat in August or September. Jim has more than 25 years of experience, has his own 34 foot aluminum hulled boat, as does his partner, Bert, and they run a top notch outfit. I've hunted bear with them a number of times and am headed back soon. I haven't killed a goat with them, but only because I've done it more than once and survived to tell about it and I'm not mad at goats right now. Jim has a web site, but if you need more information, send me an email.

For Northern British Columbia, I highly recommend Ray and Reg Collingwood out of Smithers. Thirty-five plus years of experience, great wilderness experience, great goats, horseback hunts, etc. You could combine with a moose or caribou as well. Late September is a good time there. Take spare lungs.

Kelly Gill speaks the truth about Baranof expeditions.

These guys are GREAT!!!
If you need any more info, please feel free to get in touch.
I have hunted with them 2 times and they are the measuring stick I use to compare to all other outfitters.
BTW, my next hunt (Big) will be with them. I also want a goat.
