Ya I pack plenty of TP. No wet wipes though, I’m not sure they biodegrade very fast, I know if they aren’t buried they last a longggg time.

For me I always thought just going iron sights would be a fun experience for hunting grizzly. Throws a different aspect in there. Or handgunning with iron sights. Wear good clothes, be comfortable, just challenge yourself with maybe more limitations when it comes to shooting capabilities?

I usually take a lever action rifle with a peep sight bear hunting. If you are shooting 100 yards or less not a big handicap.

I backed a client up once on a nice grizz, right at 9’ if I recall correctly.at about 110 yards. My scope had been buggered up so I was running a peep sight. The bear was right on the edge of a ravine and after the client hit it it spun and started dropping into the ravine, I pulled up to try and get another hole in it, but my front bead covered most of the bear!! Lol I hit him square in the hind quarter....lol not what I was hoping for. I’ve shot my peep plenty out to 250 yards for practice but never on a moving target. I still carry it as back up but feel for my eyes the scope is far superior for follow up shooting.
