jim in AKI do love my model 70s. But the new Sako Kodiak with a 21 1/2" barrel is worth thinking about, it only comes in 338 win and 375 H&H but what a beutiful rifle.

MOA TACTICALThe original M70 Alaskan offered in the 1950s was a walnut stocked rifle.
I'll wonder if they used a similar stock pattern.

Carolina ManThere are pictures of the new rifles on Winchester web site. Also new this year is a 257 Roberts in the Featherweight model.
