You think you're dying ?!!!
Other than the few details he has shared with me, much of it is still a secret from me. All I know is Lon is excited about it - and so am I.

Lon's work looks very nice. No prices or services listed...yikes. Dare I ask pricing...?

We have so far avoided discussing $$ but Lon is a friend so I imagine we will work out some sort of amiable trade - either with guns or services.

I know his work and tastes and he knows mine so by not discussing price and allowing the craftsman the freedom to turn out something he is excited about I feel like one of those English royalty who simply commission a best gun without a thought to what it will cost.

Like most top tier gunbuilders Lon's prices are not cheap - but when compared to his few peers
they are.

Lon built a synthetic/stainless 375 Weatherby for me on a M70. It has every necessary bell and whistle on it to make it a tool. Including the 2.5x8 Leupold it came in about $4,000. For good wood etc I think you would pay $2,000-$4,000 more. Lon's rifles work when he sends them to you and that includes delivering good accuaracy. Mine shoots three 300 TSX into about a half inch.

Besides the obvious quality, the advantage Lon has over so many other talented gun builders is that he is a serious, experienced hunter who knows that function and performance is paramount.

Been doing some looking and yeah, Lon Paul offers excellent quality for less! Is he a bored millionaire or something?
