I am looking for some better GMU maps than they have on the
PDF there for units 9-09 and 9-10 as I have brown bear hunt
booked there for spring 2006. Any thoughts?

Try using the boundary description and plotting it on a topo quad. I've done this with a couple of management areas and it works pretty good - at least for me anyway.
