Overkill from sweden12GA brenneke V&S 375 H/H or 458 Win
You guys that have shoot or seen a bear being shot with a brenneke or slug from a shotgun.. Do you think it is more effective than a .375 H/H loaded with a good 300 grain bullet?
Or a .458 with a good bullet?
If you compare lets say a 9,3x62 with the 12ga brenneke.. what would you say?
gumboat458? anyone else?
sorry for very bad english..

Overkill from swedenI have been thinking on this.. a 12 ga brenneke is 18,5mm in diamter and it will not expand... (if it did it would not have any penetration to talk abaout)
And a good bullet in 9,3 x 62 will expand to 2 times it´s orginal diameter and will then be 18,6 mm. The same as the brenneke.. and the 600grain brenneke will have a velocity of 1300 FPS and the 9,3x62 will do 2400FPS with a 286 or 320 grain bullet.
Then the 9,3x62 will be more effective.. at least on the paper..the same diameter but with more velocity.. alot more!
