Highlander7They still make that? Not much of a award. At the very best I hope it was cold!

458WinWhen you limit their grog rations you have no idea of how appreciated even one warm beer can be at the end of a long, hard day on the Alaska peninsula.
Anyone who claims the 30-06 is ineffective has either not tried one, or is unwittingly commenting on their own marksmanship

On the Airport scales, the frozen hide (no skull) in a plastic tote weighed 149 lbs.

My first Plt Sgt was a two tour Vet of Vietnam. He wouldn't share any of the horror stories but, he has a classic one of how his tank crew had to guard this broken down flat bed. Curiosity got the best of them and decided to pulled back the tarp. The whole trailer was full of beer. He said his M551 was filled with as much beer as they could take. They rode off with everyone riding on the turret, minus the driver.
