Several years ago on a hunting trip to Alaska one of the guides in camp gave me a set of leather heel protectors, as he called them. They were a soft leather half bootie that laced up. We wore them over our socks with waders. They only covered the back half of your foot and ankle. I have googled everywhere and only get medical stuff. Can anyone tell me if these are still available?
