CCMDocLH Youth Bolt action
At the suggestion of jtinidaho in the small bore forum, I am reposting this request here:
Anyone have a line on a left-hand bolt-action youth rifle in .223 or .243 that is actually available?
Savage and Remington did make these at one time but finding one has proven difficult. A number of dealers advertize as having them but either they are "no longer available" or "out of stock with no anticipated date for delivery".
Thanks for any direction

GadgeHave look at the Browning X-Bolt Micro Hunter LH range too. Available in .22/250 and .243, among others.
These have a bit longer LOP than the Rem Youth rifles, [13 5/16"], but are pretty much the same overall length and weight.

CCMDocUrban,
Unfortunately Buds is "Out of Stock" but thanks for looking for me.
I'll take a look at the Browning as well - thanks Doug.
I did manage to find a Savage at Class 3 Weapons in Houston and just bought it on-line to be shipped to my FFL. They had exactly 1 in their warehouse inventory. I hope it is really there and not one of those "ghost" inventory items.
Thanks again,
Paul

Left hunterRemington still makes the 700 youth left hand in 243 and 7mm-08. My local gunstore has a 7mm-08 in stock for $499. He also has a few left hand youth savages, but I don't remember the cost or the calibers.
Just recently announce was the savage axis in left hand (both youth and regular). You should be able to pick one up for $300 or less brand new. I hope this helps.
