Benelli has a 20 gauge M2 on their site

Ken ClineYeah, it has been on there for a while, but no specifications such as model number or options of barrel lengths. I called today and they said it is backordered and will be at least 60 to 90 days.
Model number is 11195 LH M2 20 ga.
26" is the only length offered so far.

Ken ClineCalled a local store here just to get an update to see if they would be having this gun as a regular stock item, and to see when the approx. arrival time is......
And found out they now have some in stock. Have not seen any advertised nationally online yet. $1240 + tax.

Cliff LyleKen,
Have you gotten your hands on the Benelli yet?
09 August 2013, 07:47
Ken ClineYep, picked it up a few days after I posted that. Although, have not taken it to the range yet. I had a 24" in the RH version a while back, so only real difference in the pointing is a slightly longer barrel. But, operationally, it should be a big improvement to get everything on the correct side. And, I don't have to buy a $65 left hand Comfortech pad for this one or bother flipping the safety button around.

Vol717Ken, Where do you buy your pads? I haven't found them that cheap anywhere?

Ken ClineNowhere recently. The lh version comes with the proper one that fits me well. But, previously bought some through eBay for converting a rh to pseudo lh

Vol717I just bought the short LH pad for $75 on eBay.
I have LH auto shotguns, but I prefer rh guns because I can hold the gun in my left hand while loading it with the right. Also, when I carry the gun with one hand, the LH bolt knob is in the way of my hand at the balance point.

Nanook 450Won't see right handed shooters say the same about a LH shotgun...

I load with my left hand and appreciate shells ejecting away from my face.

Ken ClineYep. Same here. I have heard one or two right handers say they prefer lefty guns for bench shooting or whatever but its rare. There was enough demand that they brought it out anyhow.

Vol717I'm not trying to convert anyone. I don't care. Just pointing out what works for me. I never notice the empties on a Benelli, but they bother me on an auto .22. The Browning 22 ejects out the bottom.

RapidrobA little late in the game here but I have a LH Benelli Montefeltro 12 GA that I love to shoot.
After having a nightmare of a time with a Remington LH 1187 that would break after 50 rounds like clock work. I got my money back from the company and bought the Benelli. You should be very happy with your shotgun. I will never sell mine.
